The company has started its operations with the Vitpilen 250 and the Svartpilen 250. These two bikes are made solely for India and Husqvarna Vitpilen Price is Rs 1.80 lakh(ex-showroom Delhi).
Though the bike is a premium bike and an alternative to the KTM 250 Duke, these Huskies are cheaper than the KTM by Rs 20,000.

Bookings for the motorcycles have begun at 100 KTM dealerships in 45 cities.
Vitpilen 250 is a cafe racer and has a more aggresive style to it and uses the KTM Duke as its base. The bike is powered by the same 248.8cc single-cylinder engine that produces 30PS and 24Nm.

Svartpilen and Vitpilen 250s are made specifically in India and will not be sold elsewhere in the world. In abroad, these bikes are sold as 401s.
Similar to the KTM, it has the same split trellis frame housing the 248.8cc single-cylinder engine which makes 31PS of power and 24Nm. The six-speed transmission does feature a slip-and-assist clutch.
The suspension and brake also is the same as the 250 Duke. The front gets the 43mm USD fork while the rear diecast aluminium swingarm features a preload-adjustable monoshock.
A 300mm disc with a Bybre four-pot radial caliper is found on the front wheel, while the rear features a 230mm rotor with a single-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS comes as standard.
The Vitpilen has a slightly aggressive riding posture which might not be the best fit for our roads. So if you are worried about it, then you might go for the Svartpilen 250 which has an urban scrambler setup and you sit more upright and has a comfortable riding stance.
The engine on the Vitpilen 250 is a Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, 4 V DOHC Engine capable of giving a maximum power of 30 PS @ 9000 rpm and 24 Nm @ 7500 rpm.
Some might have problem with the 9.5 L fuel tank and not so comfortable pillion seat. Also the seat height of the bike is huge at 835 mm. So people below 5’7″ might have problem even tip toeing on this bike.
The front suspension is a WP upside-down and WP monoshock at the rear. The chassis is a Steel Trellis, Powder Coated frame.
