Kawasaki has unveiled the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R, the 250 cc quarter-litre bike in the Tokyo Motor Show. The bike is a inline four cylinder engine instead of their bi-cylindrical engine which is seen on most of the lower cc bikes.
The liquid-cooled, DOHC, 16 valve engine is capable of making 60HP of peak power. Ninja ZX-25R redlines at 19,000 rpm.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R comes with a 6 speed gearbox with the Kawasaki quickshifter which helps in quick upshifts and downshifts without the use of the clutch. The suspension at the back is a horizontal back-link monoshock setup. While at the front is a radial-mount monoblock calipers, this type of setup is generally seen on bigger bikes.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is equipped with Kawasaki high-tech features like the Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTC), and Power Mode.
It comes with a 2 channel anti lock braking system with disc brakes both at the front and rear. The wheels on the Ninja ZX-25R is a 17 inch both at the front and rear.
The frame on the bikes is a Trellis high tensile steel frame.
You get an all digital instrument console with rev-limiter indicator, engine check indicator, low battery and oil indicator and abs light to name a few.
Both the front and tail light is LED and you also get an Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) on the bike.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is expected to be priced at ₹ 5,00,000 in India.
