Toyota Ertiga is a mini MPV designed and produced by Daihatsu and marketed by Toyota. It was first produced in Indonesia is basically developed as an entry-level MPV under the name Avanza Veloz.
The car will come into the Indian market and sit below their best selling car the compact MPV Innova Crysta.

The Avanza will get redesigned front grill while retaining its LED headlight and upper chrome feature. Indicators are present right below the headlights and give a nice look. It has a sporty looking front grill blackened out with fog lamps on the far end on both the sides.
As we move to the side we can see its sporty looking typres which comes with diamond cut alloy wheels and is available in both 15 and 16 inches. Moving towards its side profile we can see its ORVM with integrated turn indicator. You will get body colour biddings on the doors and right below it has extra trim which enhances its look.
Moving to the rear end of the car, it looks very sporty. Thanks to its sharp edged inverted “F” tailights. You get rear parking sensors with reflectors on either side which is blackened out.
The roof rails at the back is protruding outward which enhances its sporty look and on top there is a shark fin type antenna.
Moving on to Toyota Avanza Interior, as soon as you open the door of the Avanza, you can see hard plastics used on the door panels. There are faux metal present on the dashboard as well as on the door handles.
The cabin comes with a all-black interior, with the gear lever and steering wheel getting a nice leather wrapping. The gear lever has a small chrome finish.
The Toyota Avanza driving position is pretty high, so you sit quite up on the car and can easily see the road ahead. The cushioning on the seat of the car is firm. On the side of the driver seat you get a storage box which you can also use as an arm rest. The glove box can store your things though its not so big as it does not go deep.
On the dashboard, you get a 6.2 inch touchscreen infotainment system. It supports FM, USB, Bluetooth connectivity, AUX and GPS navigation. It has both Android Auto Play and Apple Car Play.
Right below the touchscreen system you can see two switch, one for passenger light and the other for harzard signal. Below it is AC controls and 12v DC charge output right beneath it.
Passenger side gets a vanity mirror thankfully!

Toyota Avanza Seating Capacity is 8 passengers in total. The second row seats provide good legroom and good under thigh support. You also get a 12v DC charging option at the back. Right above the second seat is a switch which you can press and out rolls a screen, if you ever need when your travelling on a long journey. Three rear AC vents are present just beside the screen which will be used by both second and third seat passengers.
The third row is best left for children and will be very uncomfortable for adults there.
As you open the boot of the car you will see two cup holders on the right side and a bottle holder on the left side, a small space for your wallet or keys and a USB charging port beside it. If you fold the third row you will have plenty of storage space.
Talking about the engine, its a 1.5-liter Dual VVT-i four-cylinder engine which produces 103 PS at 6000 rpm and 136 Nm of torque at 4200 rpm.
You can expect a mileage of around 13 km/litre on highway.
